Description
An aromatic beer brewed using local ingredients and Champagne yeast, D’Artagnan Bière du Brut is ripened in the ancient limestone caves at Château Neercanne. Created for the adventurous and bold among us, inspiration is drawn from the legendary Musketeer, d’Artagnan, member of the French Royal Guard. Legend has it that in 1673, Château Neercanne was home to the French Royal Guard military hospital during the Siege of Maastricht. D’Artagnan’s demise was recorded during this battle, at Tongeren Gate where Zuyd Craft is located. For those seeking a distinctive and exciting alternative to the classic aperitif, this golden, sparkling Bière du Brut offers a complex aroma, packed with floral notes, fragrant herbs and sweet honey accents.
