Dornfelder 2023

With the 2023 vintage, Harry has produced a delicious Dornfelder. A seductively fragrant nose with ripe fruit such as red and black cherry, blackberry, forest fruits, and rosehip, with a subtle touch of cedar and clove. On the palate, the wine is slightly fresher with more red fruit and a pleasant hint of liquorice on the finish. An elegant, juicy wine with soft tannins. Food pairing: Liège-style meatballs with sauce. Quail with black pudding jus and grilled root vegetables.
