Description

This single vineyard Riesling from the Meuse Valley is recognizable as a Riesling and as a refined wine from the top estate Aldeneyck. We detect aromas of blossom, pear, lemon, white currant, wet stone, tarragon, and over time, a hint of pineapple and honey. The wine has a pleasant mouthfeel due to the sophisticated balance of fresh fruit acidity, a slight touch of residual sugar, and aging sur lie. Long, fresh finish. Food pairing: raw sea bass with a yuzu dressing, light soy sauce, and edamame beans
