Sjmoutlempke Montanjaren Series
"This robust Imperial Stout was allowed to age for 195 days in the cool, constant darkness of the centuries-old marl caves of Valkenburg, 600 meters deep within the underground tunnel system. There, a temperature of 10°C and a humidity level of 98% prevail year-round — perfect conditions for a slow and controlled maturation, where evaporation is kept to a minimum and the beer retains its full character. Aged in extremely rare 40-year-old Ardbeg whisky casks, this beer developed an unprecedented depth of flavor: notes of peat smoke, dark chocolate, dark caramel, dried dark fruit, and a subtle saltiness. A tribute to time, tradition, and craftsmanship." Long live the Montanjaren!
