Description

This beer has a dark amber color and is crowned with an abundant, lacing head. The nose of the Westvleteren 8 is an attractive combination of green notes, soft fruit, and a hint of caramel. The various flavors of this beer lead to a harmonious yet complex taste sensation. You can taste the malts, as it were, down to the barley husks. The finish is rounded off with a surprisingly complementary and powerful hop bitterness.
