a beer adventure that began in 1989
The story of Squatters begins with Jeff Polychronis and Peter Cole. Inspired by the brewpub culture in the northwestern United States, they wanted to bring something similar to Salt Lake City.
They took their preparations seriously: after visiting more than forty brewpubs, they opened their own establishment in the city center in 1989. In doing so, Squatters became one of the early names in Utah's craft beer scene.
classic styles and bold hoppy beers
At Squatters, you will find various facets of American craft beer. The range extends from Pale Ale, Golden Ale, and Hefeweizen to bold IPAs and Double IPAs.
Beers like Full Suspension Pale Ale and Chasing Tail Golden Ale have been part of the brand for years. In addition, with offerings like Juicy IPA and the Hop Rising Double IPA family, Squatters shows that there is plenty of room for hops.
