Pinot Noir 2022

Dark ruby red color, aged for one year in Puissance barriques from Chassin. Pure, sun-drenched grape expression with a strong influence from the soil and seductive spiciness. Black fruits; cherry, wild blackberry. Subtle velvety texture and a caressing mouthfeel with ripe, soft tannins. A wonderful balance with plenty of structure, terroir expression, and a mouth-filling, lingering finish. Often described lyrically by wine journalists. A few years ago, the famous wine writer Oz Clarke said when he tasted the Aldeneyck Pinot Noir at the London Wine Fair: “A lot of structure, fruit, perfectly balanced, this is a discovery!”
