Bodegas LAN Vina Lanciano Reserva
Grape variety/vinification This wine is made from 87% Tempranillo, 8% Graciano, and 5% Mazuelo. The grapes are hand-selected, ensuring that only those with the best ripeness and in the best condition are used. The wine undergoes 19 months of wood aging in French and Russian oak, followed by 18 months of bottle aging. Tasting note Elegant aromas of black and red fruit, licorice, sweet spices, and pastry combined with a mineral character. The bouquet is interwoven with hints of forest undergrowth, mint, and fennel. The wine begins silky and elegant with fruit and sweet, well-integrated tannins. A pleasantly long, persistent finish. This is a remarkable wine from Rioja that showcases the region's potential for producing elegant and refined wines. Food pairing Delicious with grilled meat, lamb, stews and spicy dishes, beef carpaccio, and mature cheeses.
